Frequently asked questions
Straight answers on turnaround, pricing, formats, revisions and how the work actually gets done.
What is embroidery digitizing?
It is the process of turning artwork into a stitch file that an embroidery machine can read. The machine does not read a JPG or a PDF. A digitizer decides every stitch type, direction, density and sequence, which is why two files of the same logo can behave completely differently on the machine. See how we build a stitch file.
What do you need from me to start?
The artwork, the finished size, the placement, the fabric and the format your machine reads. A phone photo of an existing patch or garment is enough to begin. If something is missing we will ask before quoting.
How long does it take?
Standard turnaround is 12 to 24 hours. Rush and same day options are available and are quoted up front so you know the cost before choosing.
How much does it cost?
Digitizing starts at $10 per design and the final price depends on size, stitch count, detail and fabric. Vector art is quoted per file. You always get the price before we start. See the pricing page for the full breakdown.
Which file formats do you supply?
DST, PES, EXP, JEF, VP3, HUS, XXX, SEW, EMB, PXF, TBF, CND, ART and OFM for embroidery, plus AI, EPS, PDF, SVG and CDR for vector art. If you need several formats of the same design there is no extra charge.
Can you fix a file I already have?
Yes. Send it with a note on what goes wrong when you run it, thread breaks, puckering, gaps or bad trims. We will tell you whether it is worth repairing or faster to rebuild.
Can I just scale a design to a different size?
Small changes are usually fine. Anything beyond that needs the file rebuilt, because density, underlay and small detail do not scale correctly. Scaling a stitch file in software is the most common cause of files that sew badly.
What if the file is not right?
Tell us what is wrong and we revise it. Revisions are included where the file does not match the design you approved. If the brief changes, for example a new size, fabric or placement, we will quote that as new work.
Do you work with resellers and other digitizers?
Yes. We work white label, so files go out under your brand with nothing of ours attached. If you send regular volume, ask about account pricing.
Who owns the files?
You do. Your artwork stays yours, and the files we produce for you are not resold or reused for anyone else.
Can you match thread colours?
Yes, tell us the thread brand you run and we will assign codes to the file. If you do not specify, we use common equivalents and list them in the preview so you can swap them.
How do I send artwork and receive files?
Use the quote form on this site, or email info@inpixz.com. For quick questions there is WhatsApp and the phone number is +91 83003 37300.
Still have a question?
Ask it directly. We would rather answer now than have you find out after the file is on the machine.
